“THE IMAGES OF MUSIC”

“The Images of Music” is an artistic proposal of original music in a classical style, full of suggestions, with a descriptive and evocative character. It’s a show in which the air vibrates with sounds and colors, a film in which the “visual column” is left to the imagination of the listener, stimulated by the title of a composition or by a series of images projected on the stage.
The idea is born in Rome in 1997 by two composers: Massimo Alviti (Guitar) and Alessandro Papotto (Clarinet, Saxophone and Flute). The two musicians propose a repertoire of original compositions that lightly touch Classical Music, Jazz, and World Music.
With this show they participated in various international events including “Cajas de Mùsica de Santander” (Spain), “Acoustic Guitar International Meeting” (Italy), etc. They collaborated with bands such as Soft Machine, Avion Travel, Banco del Mutuo Soccorso, Indaco, and many others.
